4 years ago, yesterday, my brother David passed away, and 12 years ago, yesterday, my dad also passed. I didn´t feel like posting a comment, so I didn´t. I still have a hard time processing my grief. I loved them both with all of my heart, and miss them every day.

Anne & family:
It's hard to believe that Dave has been gone 3 years already. Of the many pilots I knew, especially the ones I flew with in the Philippines, Dave was one of the best. I hope that all of his family members know how much we remember Dave and his wit.
All my best,
Thad Burr, Col, USAF(ret) and UAL Captain(ret)

This past July 18th marks two years my brother has been gone.
I still feel an overwhelming sense of numbness when I think of him. Still shock, I´m assuming. I´m slowly feeling grace through the pain. I miss him every day.

Always a good person to share time with, fly with, and exchange stories with. I spent time with him at Clark AFB, Philippines, here in CT, in New Mexico, Montreal, and numerous other places. To add to our relationship, we were both from Connecticut, and had lots of stories to share. I can't imagine how hard this has been for Anne and their boys. God bless the entire family.

So very sorry to read about Dave´s passing this past summer. Dave and I were instructors in MSP for Northwest 20 years ago. He was a gentleman, great instructor, and a good friend. To prepare for the lessons and your students, he told me you want to, "Look like a duck on the pond." I asked him what that meant, and he said than you want to show a calm exterior on the surface of the water, but be paddling fiercely under the water! Great advice!

So very sorry....

Anne & family:
I can't imagine how difficult this past year was for all of you. Thank you for all you did for one of the best of the DOF.
With love & prayers,

To Dave's Family & Friends,
I am truly sorry to read of Dave's passing. I got to know him while we attended East Lyme High School. It was always good to talk to him, a true gentleman. My condolences go out to you all.

I will miss my brother David more than I can express. David is one of my closest friends. I've looked up to him since I was knee high to a grasshopper.
So proud to be his little sister, always so proud of him, and all his achievements.
I've always bragged about him, as my brother, but he really is my best friend.
He has helped me in so many ways over the years. ALWAYS there to help guide and support me, with no judgement. Not easy, I'm sure.
He and I could talk 2 times a week, for a couple hours, and still have something left to say, the next time we chatted. Lol
He is so smart, and makes me laugh. I alway appreciate his take on things, because they come from a gentle, thoughtful way.
He's so interesting to listen to.
He's so generous with his time, his helpful hand, and his wisdom.
I've never met anyone like him, and I doubt I ever will. A one of a kind gentleman in every way. I will miss him terribly, but I will always have him with me in my heart.
