I was just thinking about my grandfather and his family and how much I enjoyed visiting Norwich with him and my uncles, Uncle Ellsworth and Uncle Eli, and my cousins, Diana and Eddy Cramer. I decided to look up on the modern technology assistance called the computer, the Cramer family. I am so sorry to hear about Diana. I know what it is like to lose a sibling. I, too, have lost my brother. I want the Cramer family to know that even after all these years, I still miss my grandfather and his brothers, my uncles, Diana's father, who has also passed, my Uncle Ellsworth. The family was always so good to me and my grandfather. Again, to all of Diana's family, I am truly sorry for your loss.....

I met Diana when I was a new teacher in Norwich. She and Avis Lemire shared their teaching office with me at Veterans' Memorial School. In addition to guiding me in the instruction of small groups of students, Diana helped coach me as I prepared to take my Comprehensive Exams while earning my Masters Degree at UCONN. Her assistance at the beginning of my career was invaluable. She was a wonderful person. Our world needs more people like Diana Cramer. My sympathies go out to her family. Sincerely, Melissa Robbins (formerly of Norwich, CT)

My mother and Miss Cramer were very close friends. They went to school at Eastern Teacher's College (ECSU) and taught at Veteran's Memorial School in Norwich. I remember several nights of Chanukah at her home. Her mother and father would be there and Diana would laugh as she squirmed and blocked her own ears because she sang very off key. However, I thought her singing was beautiful. It reflected her humility, kindness and generosity. I feel it was an honor to have known Diana and the world is a little less fortunate to have lost her.
