A Hero of Faith has departed from this earth to join the ranks of the Immortals. My father in the Faith, Pastor George Rucker has now joined the Cloud of Witnesses.
Daddy Rucker, you have done well Sir. You have left us too soon. However, I am confident that you are already playing your tambourine in heaven.
The Groton Community, the Cities of New London, Rutherford and Norwich have diminished because you are no longer there physically. But, Your spirit shall live in the mind of many.
I am where I am today because of your leadership, compassion, passionate heart and your visionary leadership. Thank you for empowering me!
I am so glad that I had an opportunity to say Thank you always. Daddy Rucker, I miss you!
In Loving Memory,
Rev. Dr. Kenel Stevenson

I was saddened to read of Mr. Ruckers passing. I recognized his picture and name right away, although I hadnt seen him in many years. I worked as a navy and civilian nurse at the subbase hospital in the 70s. He was always so friendly and welcoming, you couldnt help but like this person; he truly exemplified Gods Love. My condolences to the family.

Words will never adequately express the Love, gratitude and respect that I along with all The visionaries of Tabernacle of Deliverance and Praise Ministries of Norwich , ct. have for Elder Rucker. If he had not known the voice of God that spoke to him concerning starting a ministry in Norwich,we would have not existed! He stepped out against all odds and obeyed the call of God! As a result of his strength and determination to do Gods will, many were saved and lives transformed for the past 22 years that have come to the ministry! For him,we are forever grateful!! When God made him he threw away the mold. No matter how high God takes us , we will forever look up to him! Our Bishop, Leader,Mentor, and Founder!!! Sr. Pastor Jerry L. Davis and the T.O.D.A.P. Family You will be forever missed

Twenty years ago Pastor Rucker gave my family and I the opportunity to reside in the United States of America and for this I am forever grateful. We have used the opportunity he provided us to accomplish great milestones. I will certainly miss him. He has transitioned from labor to reward.

Pastor Rucker was one of my Angels. When ever I went in the hospital he prayed over me, and when I almost died he said a Special Prayer that night over me, and when I woke up the next day he was watching over me, with his bible in his hands, The doctor came into the room and said the worst was over. Pastor Rucker was my go to person for when I needed Prayers and Blessings over my Worst and Strongest Journeys for my family and friends and myself. When I went to visit him at the nursing home and at his house and in the hospital. I always told him that he'll always be My Pastor. God Bless You My Angel.
