How wonderful that you were able to have such a loving, vibrant, and faith-filled Mother. I had the pleasure of being in her company when she would come and visit my dear friend, MaryEllen. Mrs. Delaney had the gift of making everyone she met feel special. She had that twinkle in her eye and loved to visit. I am sure there will be much laughter and tears when you all share stories about her and those will bring you comfort. She touched many people's lives...I know she touched mine. My condolences to all of you.

Mom,
We miss you already and know you are with Dad and the angels. You have always provided love and support for all of us throughout our years together. Most importantly your unwavering belief and leading by example in the practice of your faith is a priceless gift you have left with us.
Rest in peace forever in heaven and continue to watch over our family.
Your loving children,
Doug, Noreen, MaryEllen & Paul

I have never had the pleasure of meeting Jane, I am a friend of her son Doug. I know that Doug is a very giving, caring and kind person, and as the saying goes apples don't fall far from the tree, I am so sure Jane had all of those qualities and more. She is spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year, what an honor! Please accept our deepest sympathy during this very difficult time! God's Blessings to you all. Doug you and your family will be in our prayers.

My Deepest condolences to the Delaney Family. Every Wednesday evening, Jane always offered me a ride home after the Mary Immaculate Queen Novena and Benediction at St. Pius X Parish. Her warmth and kindness will never be forgotten.

My Sincerest Condolences to the Delaney Family. Jane was my longest and dearest friend, having met when we were six months old, with our Grandfather's pushing our carriages. We spent 12 years in school together. Going in different directions after Graduation only to meet again at the "Y" in Hartford, Ct. We both then married and moved to East Hartford, Ct. The family spent their last night in Ct. with us before moving to Illinois. She is my daughter Jayne's Godmother and we missed her when they moved. We managed to keep our friendship strong through all of our ups and downs. I am very sad that I am unable to extend my sympathies in person to her beautiful family. I feel Blessed to have had a chance to visit with her for a few minutes on her last trip to Connecticut in November. We had planned for me to visit with her after the first of the year.I will miss our late night telephone calls but most of all I will miss "I'll say a Prayer". Sincerely with Love, Shirley Ostman Leonard

Mrs Delaney will always be remembered.I met her as a customer of my lawncare business but quickly developed into a friendship. She was like a second grandmother to me..teaching me about flowers and birds and all yardwork in general. She would always give me a cold drink of sunny delight (my favorite) after a hard days work in her yard. She always had a smile and funny story to share as we worked in her yard that she enjoyed so much. She was so kind and caring to everyone. I will truely miss my weekly visit with her, but will not be forgotten..as I have many flowers transplanted in my yard that I received from her.Thank you Mrs Delaney for all your kindness.your lawnman and friend,Dave
