Mr. Cwikla proudly served with the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a retired union pipe insulator with Local 33 Int'l Assn. of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Aurora-McCarthy Funeral Home, 167 Old Hartford Road, Colchester. An American Legion Service will be observed at 7.The funeral will assemble 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home before the celebration of the Funeral Liturgy at 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, West Town St., Lebanon. Rendering of military honors will follow. Burial will be private.
