I just wanted to thank everyone who attended my father's wake and funeral services and also for your kind words
here on this guest book. I guess the only way to describe my dad was that he was larger than life and if you met him you would remember him. My 4 brothers and I will miss him more than words can convey. Again thanks to everyone for their words and prayers and God bless you all.

I'll remember Joe as the consummate sales guy. At his used furniture store he was able to spot the customers' needs and match them up with just the right set and send them away happy with a great price. He helped me financially when things were looking bad and always had a job for me. I'll miss you greatly, buddy. I know you're selling real estate or health products to the angels... God help them! My sincerest condolences to Lorraine, Tim, Jon, Chris, Ed and Nate, and the many others whose lives were touched by Grandpa Joe.

My condolences to the family for your loss - may his spirit and zest for life carry you during this time and help you in the future.

My sincere sympathy and condolences to all of the Sutera family. I am going to miss talking to "my buddy" Joe. I enjoyed talking about New London and New London sports with him amongst other topics. During football season, Friday was always pregame talk and Monday was our Monday morning QB talk! Although he lived in Montville he still was a New London guy, as he often reminded me! I was priveleged he said I was his buddy. I will keep those memories in my heart Joe. Me and the girls will miss you!
