Michael Hobert Obituary
He was a 1981 graduate of Holyoke High School, where he excelled in tennis, and North Adams State College. Michael was an avid sports fan and loved all Boston sports.
Michael leaves behind his sisters, Kathy (John) Hewes and Marikate (Dave) Lynch; and his brothers: Bill (Nancy) Hobert, John (Debbie) Hobert, Dan (Karen) Hobert, Gary (Amy) Hobert and Thomas (Sarah) Moriarty; and sister-in-law Tori Hobert; as well as several nieces and nephews; and his large loving circle of family and friends. Michael was predeceased by his brothers, Rick and Joe Hobert.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Pic's Pub and Pizzeria in Holyoke, Mass. Donations in his memory can be made to: Legacy, a Residential Recovery Program for those struggling with mental health.

Sorry to be seeing this on Memorial Day, 2025. such a Shock! My condolences to all his family & friends. I remember him from school, a year ahead of me. Such a nice kid & I´m sure all his siblings were called by his nickname, Hobie.

I loved Mike, my close cousin and friend since we were kids. He had a heart the size of Boston-the city of Champions! We had endless great times with family and friends in Holyoke and GLP and he will be missed dearly.
