Nicole Pepe Obituary
Marlboro - Nicole L. Pepe, age 26, of Marlboro, NY, died on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY, after a courageous battle to overcome injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on August 16, 2014.
Born on June 30, 1988, in Putnam, CT, she was the daughter of Robert Pepe, Sr and Luann (Corey) Zadora.
Nicole attended Killingly High School in Danielson, CT. She obtained her Dog Grooming Certification from Penn Foster Career School. At the time of her passing, Nicole was fulfilling her passion and working as a Certified Groomer at Wag 'N Tails in Fishkill, NY.
In addition to her fiancé, Louis F. Malfa, Marlboro, NY, she is survived by her mother, Luann E. Zadora, Highland, NY, father and step-mother, Robert and Michelle Pepe, Sr., Stafford Springs, CT, grandparents, Donald & Anita Corey, Poughkeepsie, NY, grandparents, Michael & Linda Pepe, of The Villages, FL, brother, Robert J. Pepe, Jr and his fiance Izabela Kowalczyk, Pomfret Center, brother Alexander L. Pepe, Ellington, CT, sister, Sarah A. Pepe, Stafford Springs, CT, brother, Tanner Roberts and his Wife Cindy, Clio, MI, nephews, Robert and Gregory, nieces, Kaylee and Karmin, and her aunts, uncles and cousins that she loved so very much. She also leaves behind her best friend, Alisha Adams, Gaston, SC and her beloved yorkie babies, Milo and Bailey.
Nicole loved life and lived it to the fullest. We were all blessed by her uplifting humor and wit. Her gentle acts of kindness guided her life and shined through her gentle soul. Her strong will and determination allowed her to overcome difficult times and accomplish her dream of working with animals. Nicole was a true friend, devoted daughter, sister and aunt. She loved others with her whole heart and always reached out to those in need. She was our warrior, having shown such amazing courage and strength. She is now our angel, watching over and protecting us.
Friends and relatives may call on Saturday, September 20, 2014, from 1pm to 3pm at the Copeland Funeral Home, Inc., 162 South Putt Corners Road, New Paltz, NY 12561. A Celebration of Nicole's life will begin at 3pm. Cremation has already taken place.
Donations may be made in Nicole's memory to Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary, Poughkeepsie, NY.

So young so beautiful so unfair, Luann I cant imagine your pain . My heart aches for your loss ..I remember taking Nicole on our vacation to NH so many years ago .. My daughter Kimberly was so excited to be able to have her come along .Nicole had such a sweet kind loving spirit and I always enjoyed seeing her .. Nicole was such a sweet girl. Her smile lit up the room and always brought a giggle making the room actually bright. I havent seen her in some time but Ill never forget how sweet and caring she was. I never met Nicole in person just through letters, She helped my son so much even though she was going through a tough time. She was a sweet girl who changed her life around and my thoughts go to her family and fiance to young to be taken away after overcoming all she had.

One of my favorite memories with Nicole was when we were driving, and I thought we were getting pulled over, and the cop had his lights on, I pulled over, he sat there for a minute, let me think I was in trouble, squirm in my seat, and then took off. We laughed so hard that day. Nicole's laugh was infectious, her smile is memorable, her eyes could light up a room. Miss you beautiful. Xoxo
