We lost an amazing person in our lives. There are no words to express how much it hurts to know that you will no longer be with us! You will be greatly missed by your family and friends. You were an amazing uncle and I will never forget the times we shared. I'm so blessed that you were a part of my life and that you got a chance to meet my daughter before God took you from us. Love always and forever, Amanda (Sal), Justin and Alexa.

I just still can't believe you're gone. It's going to be so different not having you at family gatherings...Christmas, I was expecting to come in to you joking about something or razzing someone with that big grin on your face and your distinctive giggle. I'm really going to miss you.
I want to thank you for taking care of my sister and family for all of these years. There was no one better than you. Safe journey, brother...Heavens a much better place and the world just got a little darker. I'm so proud to have had you as a Brother-In-Law.

The world feels a little smaller today, emptier, since the loss of my brother-in-law Rich. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was the type of person who would do anything for you and he would do it with a smile. He was always the life of our family gatherings; quite the joker. You couldn't miss his laugh, it was so contagious. :) Rich loved my sister and their children more than anything and he was very proud of them. He was happiest when he was with them, whether it was at a sporting event, visiting friends or family, or just hanging out with them at home. He was an avid gardener and always shared any "extras" with us. He was a hard worker, a great provider, athlete, coach, hunter, etc. The list goes on & on. And Rich sure did love riding his Harley. It's so hard to believe that the boy I went to school with and graduated with is gone. I wish I could have made it up to the hospital for one more visit, one more hug, one more I love you and to be there for my sister. :( I thank God that I was able to see him before he and Brenda went to Mayo clinic. I got one last hug in before they left. We love and miss you Rich. You and your family will remain in our thoughts and prayers. See you in heaven brother.

I will never forget our phone call and the last words I said to you on that Sunday before you passed, "I Love You!" and you said it back. Wow, never in a million years did I think that would be the last time we spoke. But I will forever treasure that conversation. It breaks my heart that I never came up to see you in the hospital. You were supposed to come home Friday. How unfair that you were taken so young! You were a great husband to my sister, father to your kids and grandfather. Not to mention a great Brother-In-Law to me! They will miss you terribly, as will I. R.I.P. Rich.

Brenda, Trevin, and Jarin:

Two things really stick out to me....what a nice, hard working man and great athlete Rich was. The second was how much he loved his family and was proud of you all. His work on earth will continue with the values he taught all of you. To one of my best friends Trevin....I'm here for you as always. Love you.

As everyone has said, Rich was indeed a wonderful man and father/spouse to you, his family. He was also a great brother to all of his siblings and a friend to most everyone he met.

I will remember him always as the humorous, aweet guy he was and I remember him from the time I met Dan and the entire family and cherish his memory as I am sure you all do too. May God watch over you all.
