Robert Carbray Obituary
He was born in New London, on April 26, 1968, to Sheila Carbray and the late Robert Carbray. Rob graduated from Ledyard High School in 1986, where he excelled in track and cross country. He successfully hiked the entire Appalachian Trail and loved spending time outdoors hiking and mountain biking.
In December of 2012, Rob received his nursing degree with honors from Boise State University and was employed as an ER nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Boise. Above all, he cherished spending quality time with his children, Charly Ann and Christopher. They were the two loves of his life.
Rob will be remembered for his contagious smile, his sense of humor, and his charismatic personality.
Rob is survived by his mother, Sheila Carbray of Ledyard; two children, Charly and Chris Carbray of Nampa, Idaho; his sister, Michelle (Brian, Haley, Logan) Hinton of Ledyard; his brother, Kevin (Tanya, Owen, Andrew, Ethan) Carbray of Franklin; and many relatives and countless friends.
The family will greet family and friends at a viewing and visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, followed by a celebration of life service at 7 p.m. at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel.

An additional celebration will take place in Ledyard, at a future date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Charly and Chris' College Fund, US Bank, 7320 Fairview Ave., Boise, ID 83704, (208) 373-8950.

Sheila: I can't began to tell you how shocked I was to see this on line. Although we have not seen each other since being neighbors in Uncasville in the 60s, I can still see Rob and Michelle as beautiful little babies and toddlers. I am very sad for your loss. I really do believe that Bob is there greeting him with open arms and you now will have 2 handsome souls watching over you and your family. My heart aches for you, my friend.
