Robert Cushman Obituary
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 18, at St. Mark's Church, 15 Pearl Street, Mystic. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to The Mystic Flag Committee, c/o Densmore Oil Company, 1 Bank Square, Mystic. A complete obituary will be published in Sunday's edition of the New London Day. The Dinoto Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Very sorry to hear of Mr. Cushman's passing. I have fond memories of him visiting and playing cards with my grandfather Alfred. He was a good friend to Alfred. My sincere condolences.

Dear Carol and Family,
I was so saddened to learn of Bob's passing. Please accept my most sincere condolences.
I always enjoyed the funny banter Bob and I shared over the bar at The Fisherman, Zack's and The Seahorse. It was such a pleasure to serve you both over many, many years.
Bob had a wonderful sense of humor, quick with a kind word and always fun stories to tell. He will certainly be missed and was loved by all.
I hope you and your family will find comfort in all of your many fond memories of Bob.

Carol, I offer my condolences to you and your family. Bob and I spent many hours together both professionally and personally. We both greatly enjoyed fishing and enjoyed at the Bluefish and Striped Bass but more especially our offshore trips for tuna and White Marlin. Elmer Hewitt joined us for one memorial trip when we came upon a dead whale that the sharks were feasting upon. Among the sharks was the largest Great White Shark we had ever seen. When he was finished with fishing, Bob sold the boat to a very good friend of mine and I fished on the boat for man y more years. I have many more good memories with Bob and even though we have not been together for man y y ears I will miss him.

Dear Carol and Family,
I was saddened to hear that Bob had passed away in church today. Bob was always wonderful to chat with and always had a great outlook to share. I am blessed to have known him. On behalf of the Cramer family, I extend my deep condolences and May all of your memories sustain you this time of loss.
