Dr. Robert Rubega provided significant assistance and guidance to me early in my career at the Naval Undersea Systems Center (NUSC), now the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC). He listened to my technical challenges and helped provide a way forward leading to successful testing and meaningful data acquisition. To the family, I send prayers and condolences. Dr. Rubega was a great man, which is shown throughout his obituary. God Bless!

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who knew Bob. He was a caring and thoughtful man, who loved his family and friends. I was so blessed to have know him, and all of the knowledge that he shared with me personally. He truly cared about those that he touched with his words, and his heart. He will be greatly missed. My condolences go out to his loved ones.

To the Rubega family, My thoughts and prayers are with you, during this most difficult time. Your dad was a wonderful man and a joy to talk too. He always spoke about how proud he was of all of you, his grandchildren and that his family was everything to him. God bless you and your family.

Dear Al and Mary,
Although I did not know your father personally I do know that he was loved dearly by you both. Keep the memories of time spent with him hidden in your heart as those memories will bring you comfort in the days to come.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
