Jackie- Steve had enough energy for several people and was always genuinely interested in everyone and everything. He was one of those "larger than life" people. Your family's loss is also Groton's loss. Sending love, hugs and much sympathy from our family to yours.

Jackie and family, I am very sorry to hear about Steve's passing. I always enjoyed working with Steve; he managed to keep the lab in good spirits. One time, he was doing a scale up and called a few of us in to the Prep Lab to look at a 22L flask with a colorless solution. He turned off the heat and stirring for the flask and beautiful crystals start to fill the entire flask like a giant snow globe. He told us that those were God's little paratroopers. He will be missed.

Jackie, I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Steve. He remains one of my flagship examples of a professional who exemplified focus and hard work, pre 21st century, to deliver his mandates, but also, one who showed those qualities advanced his career at Pfizer. My fondest memory of Steve, which is still active in recent years, is hearing Steve's voice in my head singing "Blue Skies"; which he did, around me, whenever he completed an important end result; which was often. Please accept my condolences for your loss.

Jackie and family. My sincere condolences. I had the opportunity to work with Steve and learned a lot from the wisdom he had to offer. Getting to play a round of golf with him in Ireland is one of my nicest memories. He will be missed.

Jackie, Shawn and Jenifer - Please accept my deepest condolences about Steve's passing. Many throughout the community, myself included, were so fortunate to call him a friend. I always enjoyed his company and often looked to him for his advise as he was always the voice of reasoning. We shared so many stories together (the "good, bad and ugly") and I will always remember his favor departure comment - "You-all be good now - you hear". He will be sorely missed but never forgotten. Thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I am so sorry for the Massett family's loss. Steve was a great guy. I had the pleasure of golfing with him early in the mornings for a whole summer. He taught me a lot about the game and I will never forget his sense of humor. We also discussed Groton Town Politics many times. He always had a common sense approach. He will be greatly missed. May he Rest in Peace.
