Proud to say that he is my uncle. One of the nicest, funniest guys I knew. Rest in peace, Uncle Hess. May you be with Aunt Bonds now.

So sorry to hear about Tom. He now is at peace and no more suffering. He's home with the love of his life and when I look to the stars I can see them smiling down on us saying everything all right we are together now forever. Bless you both. I will miss you.

I was saddened to hear about tom... my brother Dave Noetzel from Arizona called to let me know about tom's passing. Tom and I had loads of fun growing up at the Long River Village. I was the paper boy so I had a chance to stop and visit at the Hesselman's. I remember his mother and father living on main st in middletown near Jimmy's grinder shop....i had't seen tom for awhile....last time was at a parade in middletown...life is so short...so sorry to to hear that another fellow vietnam vet passing. Rest in peace Tom...Semper Fi...

Tom was my "sea daddy" at Sikorsky. I met him at 1109th Aviation Company of the CT Army National Guard. He was a true friend and patriot. I will always remember his incredible sense of humor. RIP Tom, you will be in my thoughts until I am gone.

THOMAS WAS A GREAT MAN. I MEET HIM IN 1965 WHEN HE MARRIED
MY SISTER BONNY. THEY BOTH TOOK CARE OF ME IN MY EARLY
TEENS. HE INSPIRED ME JUST LIKE A FATHER. WE DID MANY THINGS
TOGETHER. I WILL NEVER FORGET HIM.
I AM SO SORRY TOMMY AND TAMMY.
