When I was a little boy growing up in Okinawa, I was not fortunate to have grandparents in my life. Back then, I always wished to have grandparents that would spoil me just like everyone else. That wish came true when you and Grandpa visited us in Okinawa. Ever since, you two were my grandparents, and I had the privilege of spending time with you. Some of the fondest memory are (of course) eating delicious food that you cooked and playing Mahjong with you. Those shared times are forever etched in my memory and will always be a part of me. So thank you, Grandma, for being such kind and loving grandmother that I've always wanted. You will forever be missed...

I will forever miss you nanang you were my American mom. You were my first visitor when I gave birth. Remember when we had hair firming at your house and it was 9/11 we thought it was a movie shooting. I love you and the love and your thoughts will always remain in my heart. Thank you for letting me meet some of your kids ..

Mom, we were thinking about you today, but thats nothing new...we thought of you yesterday and will tomorrow, too. I think of you in silence and not show or say anything because only those that love you know. Remembering you is easy since I do it everyday. Its the heartache of losing you that will never go away. We love you with all our hearts! - Jr., Beth, Jerilyn, Dean, Joycelyn, Kai & Keanu

I will miss your mom's kindness and generous hospitality. Although it's been a long time, not staying in touch, I will have my warm memories of her sweet and quiet demeanor. I love your mom. Her memories, along with your dad's, will forever be in my heart. Loving hugs to her wonderful family. She has touched so many hearts warmly. Prayers for all, as you travel through this sorrowful time. Heaven has gained an angel. God bless you all.
Love, Kitty

Mom, you are already so missed. Maria & I enjoyed all the times we spent with you and Dad. Our trips to the Casino, going out to eat, bowling, and the wisdom we learned from both of you. You both were truly loved by family and all that were lucky enough to spend time with you. We will cherish the time you lived with us along with those memories. Rest in peace and look forward to seeing you and Dad again.
