Our loving husband, brother, uncle, dad, papa and friend passed away this week and in his memory we just want to recognize him and all the men out there, for stepping up and treating women the way they deserve, being there for their kids and families and those they care about. He was the definition of strength, character and resilience and we will be forever indebted to him for being one of the only real positive role models in our lives. May he finally get the rest and peace he deserves.

What a wonderful person. I will always miss seeing him roll around the streets and his visits with everyone. He was so kind to my mother and aunt when they were ill, and he will be remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am going to miss the Sunday breakfasts at Billy Reeds when I come to town...and those funny, sometimes religious emails I would get nearly every day! I remember the first time I ever saw him rolling up the street....

Growing up on Velardo street as neighbors and being part of the Edison family made for a great childhood. Bob and the Hastie family was a big part of that. Thanks Bob for being life long friends with both my parents. I know how much they cherished your friendship. RIP and please give my dad a big hug for me....

Bob was an inspiration to many. His fighting spirit and love for his wife, family and especially his beloved grandchildren blessed those around him. His sense of humor and intelligence were a joy to share. I was honored to know you. Rest in peace Bob. You deserve it.
