Edith Berlin

Edith Berlin, 87, born January 27, 1920 in Detroit, MI passed away on August 12, 2007 in Mission Viejo. Edith lived in California for more than 60 years, including more than a decade in Palm Springs. Edith will be remembered as a talented artist, a gracious hostess, and a devoted friend. Above all, she cherished her role as wife, sister, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Leonard Berlin; sister Ruth Rosenthal; son Steven Berlin and his daughter Nicole; son Robert Berlin, his wife Marida, and their daughters, Carina and Juliette; and daughter Ellen Moore, her husband Anthony, and son Clark. She was predeceased by her sister, Jeannette Rosen and her granddaughter, Lara Moore. Interment was held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park in Los Angeles on August 16, 2007. The service was conducted by Rabbi Stuart Altshuler, a longtime family friend.
