Harvey Ferer Obituary

Harvey S. Ferer

Ferer, Harvey S; 88 of Galloway, formerly of Palm Desert, Calif. passed away on January 2, 2013 in Galloway, N.J. Harvey attended college in Nebraska and California, and served in the U.S. Navy for 17 years, retiring as a Lt. Commander. He also worked for NAFAC and the FAA for 22 years. Harvey had his pilot's license and was an instructor. He also was a consultant to the Mexican government for the International Airport. He was an umpire for the Greater Atlantic City Labor Day tennis tournament and helped start two Boy Scout/ Aviation Explorer troops. He was preceded in death by his son, Aaron B. Ferer. He is survived by his daughter, Ana M. Ferer; and his son Andrew M Ferer. As per Mr. Ferer's request a private military burial at sea will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to the National Parkinson Foundation at www.parkinson.org. Arrangements by Adams-Perfect Funeral Homes Northfield, NJ.
