John Baird Obituary
John Wesley Baird, 68, of Palm Desert, California, passed away, Thursday, October 19, 2017. A celebration of life service with be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 12:00pm at Palm Desert Community Presbyterian Church, 47321 Highway 74; Palm Desert, California 92260, Brother Ruben will be officiating. Memorials may be made to Christ of Salvation Church in honor of John. John was born April 22, 1949 in Blythe, Ca. to Jack and Marie Baird. He graduated from Banning High School in 1967. On February 21, 1970 he married his wife Marla Joy Brandes in Banning, California. John was reputable business man in the construction industry. He enjoyed to work and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He enjoyed fishing, family trips to Mexico, snow and water skiing, motorsports and boating.
John is survived by his three daughters, Jennifer Michelle Durr and her husband Ken Durr Jr. of Riverside, California, Heather Noelle Darling and her husband Darrin Darling of Palm Desert, California and Laurel Kristen Husen and husband Derek Husen of La Quinta, California; two grandchildren Cade Johnathan and Mason Jax Darling, his siblings Jackie Baird, Julie Baird, Jimmy Baird and Jerry Baird and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Baird and Marie Baird, his sister, Janice Baird, and his wife Marla Baird in 2008.

To the beautiful Baird girls, now women, my deepest sorrow for your loss. You were a wonderful family to have as our neighbors on Jaguar Way. Your mom and dad were an inspiring couple and I know she is overjoyed to be with her love once again.
