Larry Bailor Obituary
A celebration of life for Larry Dean Bailor will be held March 14, 2020 at Indian Canyon Golf Resort (North Course) from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Palm Springs, California.
On Thursday, October 31, 2019, Larry Dean Bailor passed away at the age of 75. Larry died of complications of COPD.
Born December 30, 1943, in Eugene, Oregon. The oldest of two children, to Dean and Helen Bailor. The family was a long time residence of Eugene. Larry graduated from North Eugene High School in 1962. After high school Larry served 4 years in the Air Force. After the Air Force, Larry attended Lane Community College then transferred to Southern Oregon College in Ashland, Oregon. After graduating from (SOC) Larry worked for Kraft Foods as a sales rep. Larry switched to Nalley's Foods were he became Sales Manager for the state of Oregon. Larry left Nalley's to open his own food brokerage business Bailor Food Sales based in Tigard, Oregon. While still in Tigard, Larry acquired a condominium in Palm Springs California. Larry enjoyed the desert climate and lifestyle so much that he decided to move to Palm Springs. Larry soon realized he needed the social action with people, he decided to return to work and was soon hired by Aqua Caliente Casino as Food and Beverage manager. Larry wanted to slow down his work load so he left the casino and started working part time with Indian Canyons Golf Resort were he worked up until his death.
Larry always had a smile on his face as well as a friendly greeting and to quote his friends "Larry never knew a stranger he didn't know". Larry was a fun loving individual who's generosity was bigger than his smile.
Larry is survived by his younger brother James Bailor (wife Robin) two nieces Kelli Karsten Aledo, Illinois and Loren Heath Yamhill, Oregon and countless family and friends in Oregon and Palm Springs.

Can't believe it's been 3 years since Larry passed. What a man. A heart as big as the world. I miss you Larry. I still have a wine once in awhile from the nice glasses they gave out at your service. See you at the Purple Room! Taylor

I am one of the lucky ones who got to spend many years in Palm Springs on vacation hanging at the CoCo. I asked a favor of you to get ordained so you could marry me. Dave and i are forever grateful for your friendship. You taught me that being a millionaire has nothing to do with money, it was having your friends/family & health that made you rich. You will always be missed and no one could ever replace you. Rest In Peace Uncle Larry❤
