Troy Marker Obituary
He was born on April 18, 1997, in Troy, the son of Carol (Juneau) Marker of New Bremen, and Eric Marker of Troy.
Along with his parents, survivors include his siblings Kenny Marker and Erica Marker both of Troy, special friend Stephanie Elliot of New Bremen, and Best Buddy Sam Burtch of New Bremen.
Troy was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen. He was a senior at New Bremen High School, where he had been involved in many activities including football, running track, singing in the choir, and was especially active in the art program, as he was a gifted artist who loved to draw. He worked part-time at the Walmart in Sidney.
Troy will be remembered as a kind and caring person who always tried to make people laugh, and was a true kid at heart.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Church of the Holy Redeemer in New Bremen with the Rev. Robert Hadden officiating. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Riverside Cemetery, 101 Riverside Drive, Troy.
Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home of New Bremen, and one hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Condolences to the Marker family may be left online at gilberghartwigfh.com.

i thank god that you still had some brain power left when the paster with us prayed for you!!!
god showed me 6 months after your death in a dream, that you are with him!!!
i saw a man in my dream, whos face was so bright that i could not see it, i could only see the outline of his body, and his hands were open to me, in a way to show off his glory!! at first i thought it was you until 2 seconds later, i saw your face right behind me after turning around!!!!
you smiled at me and i smiled also, you had no glasses, somewhat like the man i saw, you had light coming off of you also, and you had the most safe and secure type of look to your face!!!!
i said to you "TROY, i don't know if ill ever see you again", and after saying that you smiled at me and then my dream ended and i woke up in tears that i never had before!!!
i believe that bright man was Jesus Christ himself!!!!!
i want you to know right now that i am a bornagain christian, that got saved one year and 4 months ago!!!!! and the lord is keeping me holy and pure for the second coming!!!!!god bless, and farewell until we get taken up at the clouds and meet the lord where we will be with him forever so we can see each other again!!!!!!!
