Carol Ann Morrow, 79, of Plainfield IL, passed away on July 12, 2024, after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Akron OH, on November 25, 1944, to Sterling Grant Wilkinson and Mildred (nee Noe). Loving wife of 59 years of Paul Morrow who she married on September 11, 1965, at Mokena Baptist Church. Dear mother of Mark P. (Donna) Morrow and Karen (Chris) Gibson. Adoring grandmother of Nolan (Joy), Erica, Luke, Alexis, Grace, and Abby. She is also survived by her siblings and many extended family members. Carol was preceded in passing by her parents and her Brother Verne Wilkinson. Carol grew up in Plainfield and attended Plainfield Central High School, class of 1964. For many years Carol worked as a bookkeeper at banks including Plainfield National Bank on Lockport Street. She retired in 2000 after over 40 years in the banking industry. Carol liked to grow flowers; however her grandchildren were the most important thing in her life. She would always attend her children's and grandchildren's sporting events and activities. The Visitation will be held on Monday July 22, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Overman Jones Funeral Home, 15219 S. Joliet Road, Plainfield, IL 60544. The Service will be the next day at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. The burial will be at Plainfield Township Cemetery.

Carol was my sister. We were not raised together and met when I was in high school. We talked on the phone a lot so I got to know her. Her family was her life.
