Eunice Morris Obituary
Born: August 8, 1933 in Effingham, IL
Died: October 5, 2024 in Lancaster, KY
Eunice Mae Morris, 91 of Lancaster KY and formerly of Lockport, Il passed away peacefully at her daughter's home with family by her side on October 5th, 2024.
Eunice was born in Effingham, Il but she resided most of her life in Lockport, IL. Eunice moved to Lancaster, KY eight years ago to live and be cared for by her daughter, Kathy.
Eunice worked at Argonne National Laboratory for 37 years where she met and maintained life long friendships. She attended Lockport Christian Church, where she was a dedicated member and church secretary while overseeing the leadership of the nursery.
After moving to Lancaster Eunice, once again, made several great friends at Garrard County Senior Center, where they lovingly referred to her as the 'Activity Director'.
Eunice was known by many for her baking skills, especially her red velvet cake, which was enjoyed by so many over the lifespan of her baking years.
Eunice's greatest joys in her life were her children, 2 grandsons and 6 great grandchildren, which she enjoyed many family gatherings.
Survivors include her loving daughter Kathy (Jim) Topolski, grandsons, Jared Topolski and Jason (Mallory) Topolski, six grandchildren, Riley, Evan, Stella, Jordyn, Logan and Brooklyn Topolski. One sister and numerous nieces and nephews.
Proceeded in death by her loving husband Jesse S. Morris, Jr., of 54 years and son Jesse S. Morris III. Her parents, Claris and Hazel Brink and 2 brothers.
Eunice was dearly loved and will be missed by family and all of those whose lives she had touched during her life. Graveside services will be November 18th, 2024
