Kristine A. Ragusa
Kristine A. Ragusa, age 73, passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2025.
Survived by her siblings, Thomas (Peggy) Ragusa, and Virginia Ragusa; nephews, Andrew (Leighann) Ragusa, Matthew (Mary) Ragusa, and Nick (Monica) Ragusa; great nieces and nephews, Tommy, Sam, Annmarie, and Rosie. Numerous cousins, and dear friends also survive.
Preceded in death by her parents, Sam (Ann) Ragusa, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A proud graduate of Providence High School's class of 1969, Kristine carried the spirit of her alma mater throughout her life, embodying the values of integrity and service. After graduation, she embarked on a fulfilling career at St. Joe's Medical Center, where she served as a dedicated secretary for 30 years. Her commitment to helping others extended beyond her professional role, as she also ran her own massage therapy clinic from her home, offering comfort and healing to countless individuals.
Kristine's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. She was an excellent cook, known for her delicious recipes and warm hospitality. Driving and visiting with friends and family brought her immense joy, as she valued the time spent in the company of her loved ones. A fervent viewer of Fox News, Kristine enjoyed staying informed and engaging in lively discussions.
Described by those who knew her as loving, generous, and selfless, Kristine's legacy is one of unwavering kindness and an open heart. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, yet her spirit will continue to inspire acts of love and generosity in the lives she touched. Kristine Ragusa's memory will forever be cherished, as her life was a true embodiment of grace and compassion.
A mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Family Catholic Church, 600 Brook Forest Ave., Shorewood on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at 10:00 am. A visitation will be held at the church from 9:00 am until time of mass. As it was Kristine's wishes request cremation rites have been accorded. Private inurnment will be held at Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Kristine's name to Tunnel to Towers Foundation (www.t2t.org) would be appreciated.

We will never forget Kris!
She kept Traditions and stories that she carried on even with her cooking and baking.
Always going beyond to comfort all who she met!
Always gifting, cooking, giving her time by car rides, picking up errand's for others. Always reaching out to others to make there day better!
She was a sister to the Joe/Petrina boys and families, as sure she was to so many others! So many friends in all walks in life. She was with them.
She will be greatly missed and Gina, our prayers and comfort to you losing your sister and cooking buddy!

Virginia and family,
You all have my deepest sympathy. Kristine always had a smile on her face when I would she her at work and always said hi. I remember when she lived in New Lenox she would be riding her bike and always waved when I would see her.
