Linda M. Elder
Died: March 8, 2022
Linda M. Elder (nee Barton), age 80, passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Silver Cross Hospital. Survived by her loving children Jay (Kristen) Elder and Molly Kuba, her grandchildren Grace and Lauren Elder, her brother Roger (Pam) Barton, numerous nieces and nephews, her canine companion Violet and her bird Boomer. Preceded in death by her parents Paul and Elouise Barton and her husband Gerald Elder (2014). Linda was an artistic person. She enjoyed sculpture and drawing. Linda also had a passion for horses, riding and showing them brought her joy. Linda also was fiercely independent, she relied on no one and took great pride in doing it all herself, her way. Visitation for Linda will be on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 3-7:00 P.M. at Forsythe Gould Funeral Home. Funeral service will take place the same evening at 7:00 P.M. with Rev. Carol Currier-Frighetto officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's name to ASPCA by visiting www.aspca.org would be most appreciated.
