Michael Markowski Obituary
Died: July 29, 2021 in Lockport, IL
Michael W. Markowski, age 71, passed away July 29, 2021 at his Lockport residence.
Michael worked many years in custodial services, including working at Old Chicago in Bolingbrook from its opening to its closing. Michael eventually went on to retire from the Catholic Charities.
He is survived by his dear sister Margaret (Dean) Watts; cherished nephews and nieces Rhonda Barto, Sherry Watts, Deborah Kissell and Steve (Tina) Watts; and numerous fond great-nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents Bruno Sr. and Marguerite Markowski; brothers Stanley, Bruno Jr. and Francis Markowski and sisters Eileen Olsen and Wanda Barto. Visitation Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S Hamilton St, Lockport, IL from 8:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm. Interment folllowing at Lockport City Cemetery.

Mike will be remembered as a colorful character with a terrific sense of humor. He was a dear friend to many. He made many a day brighter with his chuckling and with his generosity.
