Warner Richardson Obituary
Survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Doris (nee Hareld) Richardson of Shore-wood; his three children, Jennifer L. (Dave) Lakoske of Carp-entersville, Warner G. (Samia) Richardson Jr. of Plainfield and Jason T. (Kris) Richardson of Plainfield. Two grandsons Caleb and Tyler; and his first granddaughter due any day. His "man's best friends", Rugby and Heidi; five sisters Barbara (Leonard) Sajda, Betty (Lane) Cowsert, Nancy (Curry) Taylor, Ruthane (Lyn) Harber and Marsha Ballinger; brothers-in-law, Les (Carol) Hareld and Carl Larsen; and sister-in-law, Jean Hareld; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Gladys Richardson; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lester and Irene Hareld; and a sister-in-law, Gracie Larsen.
Retired from Caterpillar in 2000 after 43 years of service as a Senior Project Engineer, acquiring 13 patents during that time.
Warner enjoyed his retirement and his grandsons.
Funeral services will be held at Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Fune-ral Home, 2320 Black Rd., on Thursday, May 24, 2007, at 11:30 AM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Will County Humane Society will be appreciated. Visitation Wednesday 3-7 PM. CARLSON-HOLMQUIST-SAYLES

I think of Warner often. I worked with him on off road truck struts at Joliet plant. He was always very helpful to me and others. A truly good man and friend.

I'm so sorry to hear of Mr. Richardson's passing. I was a neighbor and lived two doors down in Shorewood up until three years ago. I found him to be one of the nicest neighbors. I enjoyed talking to him while I did my yardwork, or went outside for a walk. I lost my father suddenly just recently and he was about the same age as Warner, so I feel your grief. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I know that my niece will have a little piece of Warner in her. Through Caleb, Tyler and this new baby girl, Warner's legacy will live on. He will forever be thier grandangel.

Warner was willing to share a funny comic or York Peppermint Patty with me at any time. I will tell my daughter that her grandfather was funny, giving, and so very smart.
