Holly Ramsay Obituary

Holly (McPhee) Ramsay
Warwick - Holly (McPhee) Ramsay of Warwick, PA, formerly of Wethersfield, CT, went to be with her Savior Thursday, July 29, 2021 at Doylestown Hospital, with her family by her side. She was 77.
She was the loving wife of Donald C. Ramsay and beloved mother of Heidi Lynn Coleman (Larry) of Jamison, PA and Kimberly Ramsay Gross (Bill) of St. Petersburg, FL. In addition to her husband and children, Mimi is survived by her grandchildren Andrew Coleman, Ben Coleman, Erich Gross (Emily) and great granddaughter Charlotte, David Gross, and Ryan Gross; and by many many "nieces" & "nephews" by which she was always known as "Aunt Holly".
She was predeceased by her mother, Josephine McPhee, father, Andrew McPhee, brother, Andrew "Skip" McPhee, and her dear granddaughter, Lauren Coleman.
Holly's life was full of hospitality and friendship. It was her joy to have you in her home and serve you an amazing dinner. She was the woman of counsel and wisdom that would listen with interest and speak with discernment. She was down to earth and always spoke her mind. She had a true interest in any that she talked to. Vibrant in thought, energetic in spirit, and above all empathetic and caring in heart. A true Christian friend to all that knew her and a fortress of love and strength to her husband and family.
Holly personally trusted the work of Jesus Christ as her Savior on April 7, 1953 at the age of 9 through the words of John 3:16. She loved her Savior and fully lived for Him. She was that woman whose price is far above rubies. (Proverbs 31).
Holly was born in Kansas City, MO and moved to Middletown, CT in 1947. After graduating Woodrow Wilson High School in 1959 she became a legal secretary in Hartford, CT. Holly married her husband Don Ramsay from Prince Edward Island in 1965 and they made their home first in Windsor then Bloomfield and finally Wethersfield where she raised her family and became a full time homemaker, while sewing custom draperies and baking incredible cakes for events.
Holly embraced the simple gathering of believers, steadfastly and faithfully meeting at the Gospel Hall with the Christians in Hartford and Newington, CT and in her final years, in Hatboro, PA to be near her grandchildren. She loved to entertain where ever she was and was at home among Christian friends from PEI to Florida.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 9:30AM-11:00AM, at Christ's Home Community Center, 800 York Road, Warminster, PA 18974. Funeral services will immediately follow the viewing at 11:00AM-12:00PM. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery, 238 Almshouse Road, New Britain, PA 18901.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Holly's memory to: Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Delaware Valley Chapter 2004 Sproul Road, Suite 208, Broomall, PA 19008.
