Anne Devlen Obituary

75, of Moravia, NY passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Cortland Regional Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Cape Vincent, NY to Erma and Leo McKeever, she was a loving and supportive wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She spent several years as an administrative assistant in Delaware and with Security Mutual Insurance Co., Ithaca, New York. In her spare time, she enjoyed making beautiful needlework items. Anne is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gilbert Devlen of Moravia; three daughters- Sherry Taylor of Dagsboro, DE, Kristina Tino of Carmel, NY and Lea Wharton of Ocean View, DE;three grandchildren, Lindsay, Meghan and Michael; two sisters, Katherine Buchal of Watertown, NY and Karen Lawton of Natural Bridge, NY. She was predeceased by her son Mark and brother James McKeever. A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2010, 11:00AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 51 Grove St. In Moravia, NY. Interment was in Groton Rural Cemetery.
Arrangements are with the Wade Funeral Home, Moravia.

Anne is truly going to be missed. I always looked forward to her visits to Delaware. She always made me laugh. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Gil and family My deepest sympathy to you and your family !! She was so very proud of all of you ! She always spoke so highly of your garden and ,grandchildrens graduations, new jobs and their lives in general. You were all important to her .
