Sending you love and kindness, and thinking about you sending you blessings. I was very close to Eric and was speaking with him on the phone everyday from Florida. I am in shock now and did not hear the news until today. I am so very sorry for the loss. I love Eric very VERY much. He was so close to my heart. He made me laugh and was so passionate about so many things.

My sincere condolences to the entire family. Losing a loved one is never easy. Erik was a very special man and will be missed by everyone who knew him. I remember Erik as a friendly and kind person. He always had a smile on his face and had something funny to say. The years were too few , but the love was great! I thank God for the opportunity to say I knew him. I believe Erik would not want any of us to be sad but to celebrate the fond memories we knew about him .

Earlene-my heartfelt prayers are for you and your family at this tough time. Cling to the cross and fact that Erik is free from obstacles that encumbered his walk here. He touched many with his various skills and interests. Thank you for being his "mom" through it all. Also, thank you for your care/love/ concern for the many students and parents you have nurtured in your professional career.
