I just learned of Dick's passing. There was no more astute cash manager than Dick Banks in the 1960's and 1970's. I worked for him at 111 Wall Street during the time when Citibank was automating much of the back office. Here's a picture of Dick explaining one of our reports to Bill Spencer, Citibank president.
