Valeria Roberts Obituary
She was born on June 12, 1964, to the late Jack "Bro" and Rachel M. Caskey. She was the goddaughter of the late John "Bro" Brace and Hiawatha Brace. She was married to her beloved husband, Julius "Road Dog" Roberts.
Valeria was employed at NGK in Mooresville, N.C.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Julius Roberts; three children, David "Dada" Parker of Iron Station, N.C., Quinton Cunningham of Heath Springs, and Raven Cunningham of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three brothers, Edward Harris (Michelle), Jack V. Caskey and Michael Caskey, all of Lancaster County; one sister, Ann Reneatha Caskey of Lancaster County; mother-in-law, Shirley M. Roberts of Shelby, N.C.; one brother-in-law, Leon Roberts (Barbara) of Shelby; two sisters-in-law, Cynthia Howard (Booker T) of Charlotte and Sherry Roberts of Shelby; two aunts, Willie Caskey and Mae Francis Caskey of Lancaster County; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5, at McCray Funeral Home. Apostle Mamie Wilson will officiate. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Baptist Church, Liberty Hill.
Viewing is from 10 a.m. until the service Sunday.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at Ebony & White Funeral Home, 1139 E. Pine St., Lincolnton, N.C.
McCray Funeral Home is in charge.
