Autumn Prohaska Obituary
Our Precious Sweet Autumn left us today as a result of a tubing accident. She is in the arms of God, holding His hand, looking down on us, and telling us everything is ok. She is everyone's Angel now God told her.
Autumn was born in Traverse City on November 15, 2001 to Mark and Michelle (Manczak) Prohaska. Autumn had attended East Middle School in Traverse City, just finishing 6th grade. She made the honor roll for the first time ever and was part of student council. Autumn had a passion and love for animals. She left behind her faithful companion, Daisy Mae. The bed will be lonely now. She holds a very special place in her heart for her good friend, Cirrea, who taught her everything she needed to know about horses. Autumn was full of life and love. She was compassionate, kind, caring, and always thought of others before herself. She always had a big smile on her face.
Surviving are her parents, Mark and Michelle; her sister, Brookie; grandparents, PaPa Bill and Grammie Dale Manczak, PaPa Jim and Grandma Betty Prohaska; her aunts and uncles, Uncle Mike, Aunt Kristy and Uncle Brian Felske and their children, Kaylin and August; special "Aunt and Uncle," Scott and Kristy Hale and their family Austin and Kaitlyn.
Autumn has left behind several cousins whom she was very close to.
Autumn will hold a special place in her heart for each and every one.
Visitation for Autumn will be at the Bannan Funeral Home in Alpena on Friday, July 5, 2013, from 2-8 p.m. with a parish prayer service at 7 p.m. Visitation will continue on Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena from 10 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. with Fr. Gerald Okoli officiating.
Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wexford Animal Shelter in Cadillac (Autumn adopted Daisy from there).
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Autumn I want this to be your final message in your guestbook...Your 1 year anniversary is slowly approaching. This is very hard. I know your up in heaven at peace and having lots of fun...I want you to know how much i love and miss you. Not a day goes by that your not in my thoughts. To all who knew Autumn she was a very SPECIAL girl who filled the hearts of all of us. She was always smiling and happy. I miss the rumble of the four wheeler coming up my driveway early in the morning and Autumn coming through the door to get Cirrae to go feed the horses for me. She is very missed by all of us she had a way about her that just made us all feel like she was part of the family. She always made my days with a big hug and a smile. We all miss her very much. She was so proud of herself for riding with Brook & Cirrae and being able to gallop and keep up. I always felt bad because she always stayed behind when they rode because she was scared to go fast. Thanks to good ole Whitney, Autumn got past her fears and with a little help from the other girls learned to ride with the wind in her hair. I remember how proud she was of herself coming home off that first ride when she galloped. Never again did she have to stay behind. We would go riding and Autumn would ride Whitney with Ariana in the buddy seat behind her she was so proud of that. She is so very missed by all of us in the Gagnon family we all had our own special bond with her. We miss & love you Autumn.
