Ruby Marie Luckey

Ruby Marie Luckey, age 75 of Clarksville, went to be with her heavenly Father Thursday, November 3, 2011 at Gateway Medical Center.

She was born July 26, 1936 in Lake Charles, LA, the daughter of Earl St. Dizier and Mildred Swearingen. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Jo Ann Luckey and one brother, Ronnie St. Dizier.

She was a retired switchboard operator at Memorial Hospital and a former Librarian Aide at Clarksville Academy.

Ruby is survived by her husband, Retired Warrant Officer, Clifton Luckey of Clarksville; two sons, Ronnie (Vicki) Luckey of Hopkinsville, KY, Randy Luckey of Hattiesburg, MS; two daughters, Donna (Joe) Moore of Clarksville, Liz (Jeff) Singley of Coppell, TX. Siblings include one brother, Rocky (Judy) Brooks of Abilene, TX and one sister, Brenda Santikos of Houston, TX. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, Jodi Moore, Logan Moore, Sarah Singley, Zach Singley, Tyler Luckey, Regan Luckey, Jennifer Hanks, Jessica Hanks, Nicolas Luckey, Ryan Luckey and Victoria Rugen.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel, with Rev. Charles Currie officiating. She will be laid to rest at 9 a.m. Monday, at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery-West. Visitation will be 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. Saturday, and 1 p.m. until the hour of service on Sunday, at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Luckey, Randy Luckey, Tyler Luckey, Zach Singley, Logan Moore, Jeff Singley and Joe Moore. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicolas Luckey, Ryan Luckey, Tracy Flair and Jarrod Denton.

Memorials can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
