Daniel "Scott" Neblett, age 47, of Pleasant View, died Friday, May 26, 2017 in Florida from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock pm on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 in the chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View with Bro. Ryan Bennett, Bro. Paul Edwards, and David Mahaney officiating. Everyone is encouraged to wear blue on the day of the funeral in honor of Scott's favorite color. Burial will follow in EverRest of Cheatham with Kevin Neblett, Parker Neblett, James Rose, Israel Jarrett, Mark Scharett, Shane Robertson, Braiden Robertson, and Douglas Tucker serving as pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, June 3rd from 3-8:00pm at Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View & again on Sunday from 1PM till the hour of service. Scott was born on March 13, 1970 in Montgomery Co., Tennessee to Danny (Faye) Neblett of Erin, and Janice (Ray) Quillen, of Ashland City. He was a 1988 graduate of Cheatham County Central High School, a realtor with Double H Properties, and a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church. Scott had a tremendous love for children and was a longtime soccer coach in Ashland City and was an avid kickball player.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Carney & Dorothy Neblett, Ernest & Marguerite Ussery; grandmother, Henrietta Dew; and cousin, Mark Shelton. In addition to his parents he is survived by his son, Zachary Neblett of Pleasant View; daughter, Chloe Neblett of Pleasant View; brother, Kevin (Carey) Neblett of Pleasant View; sisters, Lori (Chris Stephens) Louallen of Pleasant View, Vickie (Jody) Hendrick of Chapmansboro; nephew, Parker Neblett; nieces, Danielle (Jeff) Arnold, Ashley (Kacy) Kemmer, Morgan (John) Louallen, Brooklyn Hendrick, Courtney Hendrick; great-nephew, Lucas; and great-nieces, Ivy & McKinlee.

For those of you who had the pleasure of knowing Scott, you knew the moment you met him that you had made a great friend. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone. He had an infectious laugh that we probably all still hear. He truly left his mark on us all and will never be forgotten. He adored his nieces and nephews and was a true family man.

If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Monroe Carell Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt. All donations may be sent in care of Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Pleasant View. Donation envelopes are available at the funeral home.
