MULBERRY - Anne "Jody" Jenkins, 63, died January 14, 2011 at her home due to cancer.
Mrs. Jenkins was born June 15, 1947 in Alexandria, LA. She has been a long time resident of Central Florida.
Jody was a Sales Manager at Palm Harbor Homes for 25 years. Her hobbies were gardening and making stained glass art. Her most treasured moments came from spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband Don Jenkins, Mulberry, FL; sons Kyle (Jodie) McDowell, Tampa, FL, Greg (Allison) Jenkins, Zephyr Hills, FL; daughters Karie (Curt) Barquin, Lakeland, FL, Kimberly (Matt) Anderson, Lakeland, FL; sister Elaine Zilik, Lufkin, TX and 8 grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Monday, January 17 at 11:30 am at Heath Funeral Chapel.

Missing You

DeeDee I miss you so much. Words could never express what kind of wonderful person you are and how much you are missed. I don't understand how one day we can be laughing and then all of sudden be crying. Not a day goes by where I don't cry because I miss you. You were the best and it's hard to live without you but you taught me to be strong enough to go on.What a blessing it was to know a person like you

Sadie and I have worked with Jody for quite a few years. We are sorry to hear of her passing and our prayers will be for her family and the saddeness they must feel at this time.

Don, I am so sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed and I will cherish the 16 years I have had with her as my mother in law. She was a grandmother to mine and Gregs children and they as well as I, love her very much. She was an awesome women and I learned a lot with her in my life. I will always keep her alive with my memories and the love we hold for her in our hearts. We love you, Kimmy, Ryan, and Caleb Jenkins
