Doris Ferry Obituary

Registered NurseLAKELAND -- Mrs. Doris Evelyn Ferry of Lakeland died of heart failure Friday (Nov. 29, 2002) at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was 80.She lived in Rochester, Wayland and Dansville, N.Y., before coming to Lakeland in 1989. She was a registered nurse and served in an administrative capacity at the Episcopal Church Home and Hurlbut Nursing Home in Rochester, N.Y.Mrs. Ferry is survived by her husband of 58 years, Nathan F. Ferry; sons, N. Kurt, Ramsey, Minn., Keven, Toronto, Canada; sister, Alice Law; three grandsons.Visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Profetta Funeral Chapel, 1650 Empire Blvd., Webster, N.Y. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Church in Wayland, N.Y. Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church School, Dansville, N.Y.
