PLANT CITY - Floyd K Alderman, age 75, of Plant City, passed away on Sunday August 19, 2007 in Palmer, Alaska.
Mr. Alderman was born in Arcadia, FL and moved to Plant City in 1932. He was a retired conductor from the CSX Railroad, was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, & attended the First Baptist Church of Plant City.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn E. Alderman. Survivors include sons: Doug Alderman (Dale) of Plant City, Steve Alderman (Debbie) of Wasilla, AK; daughter, Susan Hall (Danny) of Colman, Alabama; sisters: Inez Thomas, Pauline Joyner, Carolyn Peacock, Eloise Thomas, all of Plant City, Marie Powers of Bradenton, Hazel Norman of Orlando; 6 grandchildren & 4 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sat., Aug. 25th at 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church of Plant City with Richard Joyner officiating. A Masonic service will follow. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Masonic Home, 3201 1st St. NE, St. Pete, FL 33704.
