FRANK WRIGHT Obituary

FRANK
WRIGHT, 69

LAKELAND - Frank Wright, 69, died at home on Saturday, October 26, 2013, due to cardiac arrest.
Born Francis William Wright, December 26, 1943 in Pittsburg, PA, Frank grew up in Great Falls, Montana. After serving in Vietnam as a Navy Corpsman attached to the Marines, Frank graduated from Montana State University with a degree in Economics. He then moved to New York City in 1972 to pursue his career where he met his wife Patricia (Spania) Wright.
After living two years in Montana near his family, Frank moved his young family to Lakeland, Florida in December of 1982. Frank retired in 2007 from a 25 year career in trucking. He enjoyed the last five years working for the Polk County School System as substitute teacher. Frank was passionate about reading, woodworking, studying art and painting - leaving behind an extensive collection of his original art. Throughout his life, he was most proud of his time in the military and maintained lifelong relationships with his fellow veterans.
Frank leaves behind his wife Patricia, three sons, and a grandson: son Jef Wright, his wife Melissa and grandson Ellis Emerson Wright of Falmouth, Maine; son John Wright of Lakeland, Florida; and son James Wright (Mary Jo Harvard) of Lakeland, Florida. In addition, Frank leaves his brother Ken Wright of Calgary, Canada, brother Jerry Wright of Harlowton, Montana and sister Kathy (Kate) Hoversland of St. Joe, Indiana.
Memorial contributions may be made to Frank's charities of choice: the Wounded Warriors Project or the Salvation Army.
