FREDA VERA (THOMPSON) DAILEY, 89

AUBURNDALE - Freda Vera (Thompson) Dailey, 89, of Auburndale, was born on October 24, 1928 in Olive Hill, Kentucky. Her parents were Fred Thompson and Edith Zimmerman, both of Olive Hill. Mrs. Dailey died on December 09, 2017, in Panama City, Florida.
Mrs. Dailey worked as a sales representative for Sears Roebuck in Florida, and then for the Polk County Education Department, before retiring in the 1980s. Freda's warm personality and energy never failed to light up any room she entered. Beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, wife, aunt, and loyal friend to her constant companion of the past 18 years, Jack Greenhill, she will be sorely missed.
She is survived by a son, Jeffrey Douglas Dailey, and a daughter, Jo Allyson Stevens. She was preceded in death by a son, David Mitchell Dailey. In addition to her three children, Freda was blessed with five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband of many years, Woodrow Dailey also preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held in Auburndale on December 20th, at 1:00pm, at Kersey Funeral Home, 108 Lake Stella Drive. Freda's urn will be interred in Olive Hill, Kentucky, on Zimmerman Hill.
