F.L. McClellan ConstructionPENNA FURNACE, Pa. -- Mr. Frederick Lee McClellan Sr. of Penna Furnace, Pa., a winter resident of Polk County, died of cancer Saturday (Nov. 22, 2003) at home. He was 61.Born in Bellefonte, Pa., on Sept. 14, 1942, he later became a winter resident of Polk County. He was a self-employed contractor for F.L. McClellan Construction for 19 years. He also owned Endora Floors in Pine Grove Mills, Pa. He was a life member of the Undines and a member of the Central PA Home Builders Association, where he served as vice president and president. He belonged to Fairbrook United Methodist Church.Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife, Mary Louise McClellan; mother, Ermatrude Spearly McClellan, Port Matilda, Pa.; daughter, Lisa Cavender, State College; sons, Fred McClellan Jr., Penna Furnace, Pa., Bill McClellan and Terry McClellan, both of Boalsburg, Pa.; brother, Lester McClellan, Bellefonte, Pa.; sister, Delores Breon, State College; 10 grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairbrook United Methodist Church, Attention: Dent the Debt, 4201 Whitehall Road, Penna Furnace, PA 16865, or Brookline Homecare Hospice, 3901 S.
