MULBERRY - Jack A. Cosby, Jr., 61, passed away June 25, 2010. Cause is pending.
Jack was employed by URS Corp. Washington Group Int. Div. He served in the U.S. Army flying helicopters in Vietnam.
Jack is survived by his wife Cathryn of Mulberry, mother Lillye S. Cosby, brothers Stephen and David, and sister Amy Griffin, all of Arab, Alabama. He is survived by daughters Corrie Riehl of Decatur, AL., Beth Wood of Brownsboro, AL, and son Jack Austin III, Arab, AL, grandchildren Michaela Riehl and Ryan Austin.
After cremation burial will be in Arab, AL, at a later date.

To the family of Jack - You are in my prayers during this sad time - Jack will live in our hearts forever. I see a part of Jack everytime I look at his children and grandchildren. Corrie, Beth, and Austin call me if you need anything.

My thoughts are with all of the Cosby's during this hard time. Just remember he is not gone. Everytime I see Ryan I see Jack- he is with you always.I love you Corrie,Beth and Austin.

Jack was an extraordinary person. I found his kindness and wit to be infectious. We lived only a few rooms apart in the Elizabeth hotel but I am sad to say we did not spend enough time together. I did consider Jack to be a wonderful friend and I was shocked and upset upon hearing of his passing. In life, we meet many people and the very special ones stand out. Jack was definitely one of the special ones.

I had the honor and pleasure of meeting and working with Jack on his recent job in New Jersey. I will always remember him for his humor, his quick smile, and wild hair!!! Please accept my deepest condolences for this great loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you. God Bless.
