LAKELAND - Mr. Jeffrey B. Spence, 71, passed away June 14, 2013 due to complications from a long illness.
Jeff and his wife moved to Lakeland from Baltimore, MD in 2005. He enjoyed a long career with Delta Airlines in Baltimore, MD. He was an avid sailor and a passionate sports fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens. Jeff possessed an electric smile.
Jeff is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Farrell Spence; brother, Dr. James Wilson Spence and his wife, Juanita; sons, Jeffrey Spence, Jr., John Spence; twelve adoring nieces and nephews; four great nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sat. June 22nd, 11:00am at All Saints Episcopal Church in Lakeland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 12010 Roosevelt Blvd., Suite 709, Clearwater, FL 33762 or the Good Shepherd Hospice, 320 W. Main St. Lakeland, FL.
