LAKELAND - Joseph C. Ippolito, 78, died due to congestive heart failure on February 3, 2009.
Joseph was born on December 29th in Trenton, NJ. He retired in Lakeland from Trenton, NJ 16 years ago. He co-owned H. Levin Candy Co., Inc. in Trenton, NJ with his wife, Marie K. Ippolito. He also owned Arctic Bail Bonds, previous to his retirement. Joseph belonged to the Grasslands Golf Club. He was a Korean War veteran.
He was predeceased by his wife of fifty (50) years, Marie K. Ippolito, his father, Carl C. Ippolito and his mother, Mary A. Plys. He is survived by his son, Carl M. Ippolito and daughter -in-law, Sharon; son, John J. Ippolito; daughter, Paula M. Ippolito and son-in-law, Jerry Mazzola, grandchildren, Dara M. Mazzola, Joseph C. Ippolito, Alexandra M. Ippolito, Carla J. Ippolito and Sarah R. Ippolito, many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at the Church of the Resurrection on Friday, February 20th, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. The Funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of the Resurrection on February 20th, 2009. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to:
