LAKELAND - Kevin Scott Sholts, 51, passed away at home on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, due to heart failure.
Kevin was born in Pontiac, MI., and moved to Lakeland in 2002. He had worked for a time as a carpenter with a local roofing company, and as a short order cook for Belly's Restaurant.
He is survived by his parents, Doug and Patricia Marsh; his longtime love Stacey; a daughter Brittany Sholts, and a son Dylan Sholts; two brothers Wade and John Marsh; three sisters Kimberly Martin and her husband Richard, Robin Dux and husband Leroy, and Ronda Comparoni and husband Pete; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Home, 5245 US 98 N., with burial to follow at Socrum Cemetery. Friends are invited to the visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

Gonna miss all the laughs we shared, sorry i wasnt able to make it down dad but i know u understand. He survived from 5 kids, in order, Korey, ashlee, chelsee, brittany and dillon.
