MABEL BERNARD Obituary
AUBURNDALE - Mabel 'Jean' Bernard, 86, of Auburndale, died on March 10, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Mabel Krell, daughter, Dianne Agerton; sisters Dorothy Leland and Martha Scott Parry; her brothers Fred Buddy , Charles R., Elmer R., and Frank Krell. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Mero 'Smokey' Bernard; children LaMatha 'Marti' Jordak of Castle Rock, CO; Suzie Mann Thorbjoern of Tallahassee; Anthony Bernard of Dawsonville, GA, and Richard Bernard Stacy of Lakeland. Grandchildren Janine Brisebois, Simone Jordak, Nils Mann, Eric Starling, Tisha Seeser, Adriane Jacobs, Cory and Travis Bernard; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Baldree, Barbara Sherman, Eunice Fields and Mary Bowersox; brother John D. Krell.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2016 at 2 00 P.M. at Heath Funeral Chapel with a viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park.

Mrs. Bernard was indeed a special lady. I was friends with her daughters when I went to Lakeland Junior High. When I would spend the night she would always make me feel welcome. My maiden name was Nancy Downey. I know she will be missed.
