DAVENPORT - Mardell Anders Miller, 96, of Davenport, FL, passed away on January 11, 2016.
She was born on January 14, 1919 in Haywood County, NC and moved to Davenport in 1953 from Asheville, NC. Mardell and her husband, Melvin, owned and operated Davenport Electric and Plumbing, Inc. for many years.
Mardell was predeceased by her husband Melvin L. Miller and her son, Phillip 'Tink' Miller. She is survived by her children, Sharon Miller Stephens of Davenport, John H. Miller of Asheville, NC, Garry M. Miller of Davenport; sisters, Ruth Wilson, Jenny Cowan, Myrtle Nichols, Stella West, all of NC; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be Friday, January 15, 2016 from 11 am until the funeral at 1 pm at Oak Ridge Funeral Care, Haines City. Condolences via www.oakridgefuneralcare.com
