SHECK, 46
LAKELAND - Mark Allen Sheck, 46, passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, in Carlsbad, California. Mark was born in Framingham, Massachusetts on February 26, 1969. He was a Catholic. He was a 1987 graduate of Lakeland Senior High School.
He is survived by his parents, Allen and Pat Sheck; brother, Ryan Sheck (Julie), Bradenton, Florida; and a niece, Sarah Sheck; and a nephew, Clayton Wilkinson. Also his maternal grandfather, Leo Gullage and his paternal grandmother, Ann Sheck. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Stanley Sheck and his maternal grandmother, Sally Gullage.
There will be a Mass on Friday, September 25, 2015, at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Church, 3720 Old Highway 37, Lakeland. A short reception will follow. Interment will be at a later date in Massachusetts.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to All Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 3142, St. Petersburg, Florida 33731-3142.

Dear Pat and Allen, I was away when Mark passed away and have just heard the awful news. My heart goes out to your whole family. I did not know Mark very well, but Ryan was a constant in my family's life for quite some time. You are all in my prayers.

My heart aches for the Sheck family. Mark was a very kind and gentle soul, he made me laugh and cry, and I will miss him and his friendship dearly. I do know he is with the Lord now because I knew how much he loved Jesus. I hope to see you in heaven one day .

Mark Sheck was one of my top golf students and a close friend. He had not only tremendous athletic ability, but also a strong will to improve. It was a privilege to have called him a friend, and I will miss him. God Bless Mark Sheck!
