LAKELAND - Nancy Kathryn Labonte, 58, of
Lakeland, FL, died Oct. 17, 2007 of cancer.
She was born Oct. 11, 1949 in East Brady, PA. She moved to the Lakeland area from Atlanta, GA in 1995. Mrs. Labonte was a bus driver for the Polk Co. School System and a member of Kings Way Baptist Church in Douglasville, GA.
She was the daughter of the late William & Martha (Campbell) Platz. She is survived by her husband Roger Armond Labonte of Lakeland, FL; daughter, Tammy Henderson of Lakeland, FL; sons, Howard Platz & John Courson both of Lakeland, FL, Roger Lee Labonte of Douglasville, GA.; sister, Vivian "Sissi" Smith of Lakeland, FL; brothers, James Dunlap of Jacksonville, NC, John Dunlap of Lakeland, FL & William Platz, Jr. of Talbotton, GA; 16 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation on Fri, Oct. 19, 2007 from 4-6pm with the funeral service at 6:00pm at Central Florida Casket Store & Funeral Chapel, 2090 East Edgewood Dr., Lakeland, FL.
