Vann Glover, 83

WINTER HAVEN - Dr. Phillip Vann Glover, DDS, 83, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 due to heart failure. He was born June 13, 1929 to Emma Louella Head and Tee Webster Glover.
Dr. Glover was a native of Ozark, AL and relocated to Winter Haven from Birmingham, AL in 1961. He worked as a Dentist, was a member of Central Church of Christ of Winter Haven, US Air Force Pilot Training Class 52G, Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity, Polk Co. Dental Assoc., American Dental Assoc., and West Coast Dental Assoc. He graduated from Auburn University and Alabama-Birmingham School of Dentistry. He completed 1600 miles of the Appalachian Trail.
Dr. Glover is survived by his wife, Mildred C. Glover, Winter Haven; daughters, Suzan G. Wirsch and Dianne G. Ortt, both of Palm Bay, FL; brother, William Terry Glover, Killeen, TX; sister, G. Carter, Pensacola, FL; and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Tuesday January 1, 2013 at Crisp-Coon Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Crisp-Coon Funeral Chapel. Interment will take place in Rolling Hills Cemetery in Winter Haven. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice or Southern Children Home.

Vann was good friend, a partner in the shutter business and the best man at our wedding I will miss him , and pray for Millie and the family

Vann was a wonderful friend to my Dad (Bill Jones) and our family has many happy memories of our visits to Florida shared with Vann & Millie. We will be keeping Millie and family in our thoughts and prayers.
